When your Netgear Extender setup can't complete, diagnose the associated reasons one-by-one.

If you are unable to complete Extender installation setup process, ensure the router and the extender machine are lying in the same space. Next, try to fix the error by diagnosing the blinking arrow LED lights. For instance, if left arrow light on Extender is blinking, it implies you need to move the Extender machine close to the router. However, if none of the LED lights are blinking- check for the Internet connection. Besides this, an outdated extender firmware may also block your path and deny completing Netgear Extender installation.

For manual setup of Netgear Wifi range extender check and match your Network Key with that of router (they must be same). In case, you own an extender machine without an Ethernet port, troubleshoot the error after restoring the default factory settings.
